FAQ: What does a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) do?

FAQ: What does a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) do?

LPNs in British Columbia are regulated health professionals who provide nursing care for people with stable or predictable health needs. They assist patients, give medications and treatments, and support overall health and recovery. At CCH our LPNs give injections, perform dressing changes, remove sutures, and perform preventative healthcare visits. Our LPNs may also perform other minor procedures, syringe ears, communicate medical information and perform initial assessments on walk in patients under the supervision and guidance of our Family Physicians and Nurse Practitioners.

To book an appointment with our LPNs, please call the office at 250-856-1320
