Nurse Practitioners (NPs) in British Columbia are advanced practice nurses who can assess, diagnose, and treat patients of all ages just like a Family Physician does. They can order and interpret tests, prescribe medications, and manage both short-term and chronic health conditions. In our clinic, NPs work independently and in collaboration with physicians and other team members to provide comprehensive, patient-centred primary care.
